My Account

Is registration compulsory for new users?

No. If you are a new user, your account will be automatically created upon your first order. Just browse the catalogue, add your items to your cart, and checkout! The email address you use to check out will be the username, and a temporary password will be sent to your email. Your information will be automatically saved in the ‘Dashboard', but you can amend and reset your password anytime in ‘Account Details’.

Is registration required if I am an existing Scientific Resources customer?

If you are an existing customer, we will link your offline and online account details so that your account details, preferences and any special privileges you enjoy with us are seamlessly carried over.

You can do either way as below:
1. Making a request via our contact form
2. Contacting our customer service team via email at estore@chemoscience.com.sg
3. Calling us at +65 6555 9001

We will assist you in setting up your eStore account. A verification email containing an account login link will be sent to your provided email. Once logged in, please reset your password by clicking on ‘Dashboard’ and ‘Account Details’.

Are there any benefits to signing up for eStore?

An eStore account allows you to get quotations directly from our eStore anytime and anywhere at your convenience. You will also be able to browse our catalogue easily at your fingertips.

Moreover, eStore customers have instant access to discounts and promotions only available online and are automatically enrolled into our exclusive rewards program, if any.

After account creation, can I amend my account information, such as billing address or preference?

All your account information and preferences can be managed in your “Dashboard” under “Account Details”. Just make sure to log in first!

 

Products & Stocks

What should I do if I can’t locate the item I want?

Not all of our products are available on our eStore. If you are still looking for the product you are looking for, please drop us a message, and our customer service team will contact you to follow up on your request.

Is stock available for all the products listed?

Products with available stock will be indicated as ‘Ready Stock or ‘Limited Stock’.

How to place orders for pre-order/out-of-stock items?

Pre-orders are allowed. However, please note that the lead time will be 6-8 weeks, and we will ship out as soon as possible once the order is available.

The product was listed as in stock when I browsed the catalogue but was out of stock when I checked out. What happened?

Goods are reserved and shipped on a first-come-first-serve basis, so another customer may have ordered the same item before you checked out. As such, we recommend that you don’t leave your items in your shopping cart for too long and to check out as soon as possible.

How long will items remain in my shopping cart before They are deleted?

Item will stay in your cart if you do not remove it. However, please refresh your cart before checkout to check the latest pricing and the status of the item availability.

Is a warranty available for the item that I have purchased?

Please refer to Terms of Sale for more details on Warranty conditions.

 

Quotations and Ordering

Can I request/create an online quotation in your eStore?

You may select the item from the catalogue and ensure your delivery address is inserted correctly. Then, you may proceed to submit a quote. After clicking “Submit Quote”, you will see your quotation number and downloadable PDF quotation file.

You can view all your recent quotes in your ‘Dashboard.’ When you are ready to place the order, retrieve your confirmed quote number and proceed to any of your contact points or submit your request to our customer service. We will have all your quoted items in our system.

Please note that all quotations have a 30-day validity period for all standard-priced items, except for special promotional items, which will be subject to the validity of the published promotion. To enjoy promotion pricing, we recommend you check out as soon as possible before the offer ends.

Is there a minimum order value?

Admin and processing fees of S$50.00 (Mainland) / S$80.00 (Jurong Island) apply for orders below SGD300.00 in a single PO.

I’ve placed an order but want to change it, how do I do that?

If you have yet to check out, you can change the items and quantity in your shopping cart anytime. If you have already checked out, changes will not be entertained.

 

Shipping and Delivery

Are there any charges for shipping/delivery?

Yes. Delivery charges may vary and will be included upon checkout.

Where do you ship to? Do you ship internationally?

We can ship anywhere in Singapore. We DO NOT ship internationally.

Can I add/edit the shipping address preferences or ship to a different address?

If you have previously purchased directly from Scientific Resources, the shipping information in our system will be the default address linked to your eStore account. You can ship an order to a different location by manually entering another address when you check out. However, please note that the alternate address will not be saved. If you want to change the default billing and shipping address permanently, please request here or contact our Customer Service team.

If you are a new customer, enter the billing and shipping information upon checkout, which will be saved as your default preferences. You can change your billing and shipping information anytime by clicking the ‘Addresses’ tab under the “Dashboard. Please note that shipping information cannot be changed after checked out. Don't hesitate to contact customer service if you have trouble managing your shipping preferences.

Is self-collect service available?

No

What happens if my order doesn’t arrive on time?

Please write to estore@chemoscience.com.sg or contact us at 6555 9001 with the order confirmation number, and we will do a check for you.

Can I request shipping in batches from your company?

No, we cannot split the shipment for all orders in the eStore.
